Richard Allen Projects, a world of drugs, violence, and poverty, fuses together
three young girls in a bond of friendship and sisterhood. Kinda, Lala and
Ness grow up in an environment believing that the three “B’s beauty, booty,
and brains, will bring them many rewards. A summer work program introduces
them to Tay, an educated, beautiful “got it all together” sista that elects
to take them under her wings and become their personal mentor, but, she
selectively forgets to reveal to them “what she is really all about.” As
always, life takes many turns and the three friends shockingly must learn
the truth about Tay while trying to cope with personal challenges of their
own. The world of slick ballers and fast money, plunge their lives into
confusion, desperation, and despair. Kinda, believing that the only thing a
man is good for is money is forced to go on the run. Ness, believing that
only one man can sexually please her, is fighting for her life. Lala, the
voice of reasoning and the platform of stability for her friends, is left
rendering support while maintaining emotional strength awaiting true love
from her man....
